LCA Membership 2026-2027
The LCA membership fee for the 2026–2027 financial year is $350, together with a $50 joining fee for new members.
LCA membership provides access to a strong network of experienced licensed certifiers with a considerable amount of technical knowledge and practical industry experience. This gives members the opportunity to discuss technical matters, certification issues, regulatory requirements and industry developments with other certifiers working in the same field.
LCA members are also invited to participate in the LCA’s monthly General Meetings, which are available via Zoom, providing an opportunity to keep up to date with current issues, technical developments and matters affecting the certification industry.
Technical training and information sessions are also regularly organised for members. Recent presentations have included:
Heavy vehicle air brake response testing;
Air brake recovery and associated air brake testing requirements; and
Seat and seat anchorage testing.
As an example of the technical information and training provided to members, please find below a video link to the most recent LCA Seat Testing Presentation:
A significant amount of technical information, meeting minutes, industry updates and other useful material is also made available to members through the LCA website and circulated following General Meetings.
The LCA continues to work towards providing practical technical support, training opportunities, industry information and a strong professional network for licensed certifiers.
In addition to the benefits of LCA membership, members also have the optional opportunity to participate in the LCA’s group membership arrangement with the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) at a reduced group membership rate.
The additional AAAA membership provides access to a broader range of industry benefits and support, including legal assistance, automotive industry representation and other services available through the AAAA.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding LCA membership or the optional AAAA group membership arrangement.
